A4 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley' makes a Beautiful appearance at York Platform 5 - 21/11/2025

A brilliant day filming 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley' hauling The Steam Dreams York Christmas Market Excursion from Colchester. This is the A4s third time at York within a week, and this time the third time was the charm as the locomotive was actually routed into Platform 5 as planned, whereas the other two times it was sent to Platform 9 at the last minute. The locomotive looked gorgeous under the canopy and the weather was perfect for the occasion. I later headed to Doncaster to catch the locomotive through the fast line on the return journey.
