The Comrades Marathon 2023: What It's Like To Run Your First Comrades

After months of training and hard work, the @ComradesMarathon4181 race day finally came. Ahead of more than 15,000 runners: 55 miles (87km) of punishing hills along the roads from Pietermartizburg to Durban in KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. It's a race that's been on my bucket list for a decade. Did it live up to the tales and myths? Here's how I got on being a novice at the Ultimate Human Race.
