Jury Hands Down Guilty Verdict For Blake Scanlon After Stabbing Girlfriend to Death

The jury overseeing the stabbed girlfriend murder trial returned a guilty verdict for Blake Scanlon for the gruesome killing of his girlfriend, Alexis Avery. Scanlon stabbed her 28 times before calling the police and confessing to the crime. The victim's family was seen sobbing as the guilty verdict was read. Scanlon has yet to be sentenced.
