1000 miles on a motorbike in under 24 hours! Did we manage it?
Welcome to my short video on our attempt at the Saddle Sore 1000 challenge from iron Butt UK. The Iron Butt Association is dedicated to safe; long-distance, endurance motorcycle riding. The Iron Butt Association is not a club as such. There are no membership fees. There is only one way to become a member - you must successfully complete, and have certified, an IBA Certificate ride. However, you do not have to be an IBA member to attend any of our events. On 1st May 2026 I attempted the challenge with 2 mates. I started in Dorset travelled to Leicestershire, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Carlisle, Birmingham, Exeter and back to Dorset. In total I did 1044 miles, according to my odometer but that differs depending on what you use. If you fancy the challenge then plan a route, talk some friends into it and have a go! #bikelife #motovlog #ironbuttuk #saddlesore1000 #motorbike #biker
