According to preliminary data shared on social media by meteorological analyst Jean Suriel, the quake occurred at 12:09 PM. The report details that the epicenter was located approximately 58 kilometers south of Boca de Yuma, in La Altagracia province, at a depth of 71 kilometers. Its exact geographic coordinates were 17.858°N and 68.536°W. Currently, residents are reporting the intensity of the tremor in various provinces, while authorities are assessing whether there was any damage or injuries in the areas closest to the epicenter.
