広島で被爆 「白血病」で死亡した12歳の少女　病床で作り続けた「折り鶴」が語るメッセージ　／　（2023/08/15 OA）

The atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. Masahiro Sasaki (older brother) and Sadako (younger sister), who were young at the time, were exposed to the bomb at their home, 1.6 kilometers from the hypocenter. Their house was completely destroyed, but they were mostly unharmed. However, Sadako was diagnosed with leukemia just before graduating from elementary school. What message was hidden in the paper cranes she continued to make in her hospital bed until her death at the age of 12? We interviewed her in Hiroshima and Fukuoka, places associated with her.
