Valentine's Day Scotsman! 60103 'Flying Scotsman' - The Valentine's Shakespeare Express - 14/02/2026

Saturday 14th February saw us out once again, this time to capture 60103 Flying Scotsman as she worked the Vintage Trains Valentines Day Shakespeare Express from Birmingham Snow Hill to Stratford-upon-Avon running over the North Warwick Line via Shirley and Henley-in-Arden in both directions. We kick things off at Danzey Green where we capture 60103 as she rounds the curve on the approach into Danzey, apologies for the slightly out of focus start to the clip. Our second shot sees us back in Birmingham where we capture 60103 as she trundles through Birmingham Moor Street tender first with the mid-afternoon train bound for Stratford. Our final shot takes us to Wilmcote where we capture 60103 as she powered through the station providing a fantastic sound track with the return leg for Birmingham.
