Big Sur Blew Us Away | Pacific Coast Highway RV Trip

Welcome to our channel! We’re Richie, Maxine, and Maverick — full-time RV adventurers sharing the journey one stop at a time. In this adventure, we explore one of the most breathtaking stretches of the Pacific Coast Highway — from Big Sur to Morro Bay — and this stop truly made the trip. We start at Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, where we set up camp and give a full campground review — site size, hookups, showers, water access, and connectivity. (No Verizon, no cell service… but Starlink worked great.) For small rigs, this place is hard to beat — we gave it a 10. From there, we cruise Highway 1 and stop at the iconic Bixby Bridge (built in 1932), take in unreal coastal views, and continue south through San Simeon to see the famous elephant seals. We roll into Morro Bay just in time for sunset, with our campsite offering a direct view of Morro Rock — an unforgettable way to end the day. We wrap things up with another campground review and a few fun moments along the way… including a tree climb attempt that may or may not have gone as planned.
