Today I’m diving at a quiet shore, that is rarely crowded in summer. It's one of my favorite places to encounter the prized summer predator: bluefish. So, I’ll gear up quickly and see what I can find! 🌊 I start with a shallow ambush in the seagrass meadows. I spot a sharpsnout seabream and quietly dive, catching it right away—a great start! As I dive deeper, I see a bluefish nearby. I hold off on shooting, but it seems to have vanished. During another ambush, I notice two Mediterranean barracudas and take a challenging long shot, but it slips right out of my grasp... I was starting to think today wasn’t my lucky day, but I had no idea what was coming next. 🔱 I switch spots, and with no sign of predators, I catch a gilthead seabream and two grey mullets. At the last fishing spot of the day, I spot a seabass, but as I try to stabilize my gun, I shoot too high. Determined to make the most of the remaining time before sunset, I manage to catch two more nice grey mullets, lifting my spirits! But, as always, spearfishing is full of surprises... 🐟 In my last ambush, I encounter two large bluefish. In a moment of poor judgment, I choose to wait for the perfect chance to attempt a double shot. That turned out to be a big mistake...
