Tricep Pain When Doing Pull-ups? Do THIS

In this video, I talk about the tricep pain when doing pulling movements, especially when doing pull-ups. This is the pain that happens right near the armpit, in the long head of the tricep as soon as you start bending your arm. I show you in my own example why that pain occurs and what you can do to fix it. I also give you a short but effective workout I used to reduce the pain. One of the reasons that pain happens is because of the winging scapula. When we’re doing pulling exercises with the winged scapula, the work we do can get transferred from our lat muscles to the tricep muscle. And because the tricep muscle is much smaller than the lat and cannot always bear the load, it gets overworked, which is why you may start to feel tricep cramps as soon as you try to extend your arm. And if you keep working out like this consistently like I did, you’ll end up getting injured. So before addressing the tricep pain, make sure that your scapulas are alright and that there’s no winging in there. Because it doesn’t matter how much you stretch or strengthen your tricep, you’ll never recover if you only address the symptoms and not the root cause of the problem. I hope you find this video useful! If you have the same problem, then let me know in the comments how you got injured and what you’re doing to recover. It would be interesting to know, and to chat with you on this topic.
