Upper Neuadd Reservoir Is a historic reservoir located in the heart of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (formerly the Brecon Beacons) in South Wales. Constructed between 1896 and 1902, it was built to supply water to the growing town of Merthyr Tydfil. Situated at an elevation of around 1,506 feet (459 metres), it is one of the highest reservoirs in the region and offers spectacular views of surrounding peaks such as Pen y Fan and Cribyn. The reservoir is now empty but did have a capacity of approximately 340 million gallons and forms part of a chain of reservoirs in the Taf Fechan Valley.
