The culprits are the colonialists, the rulers, or the forms of government. But has this mentality worked? When we look at the structures that come to power with religious or conservative identities in countries like Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, and similar countries, the picture is quite worrying: Contrary to what is said in the name of rights, law, morality, and justice, corruption, usurpation, and exploitation come to the forefront. Moreover, these crimes are now being attributed to religion, the Quran, and the Sunnah. The real issue is the morality, faith, and accountability of the individual. Power further corrupts people who lack morality. If power is given without building character, destruction is inevitable.
