El poder de la música para una sociedad en armonía | Santiago Ruiz | TEDxCordoba

Santiago is convinced that through music we can build a better society. From his experience as a choir and orchestra conductor, he encourages us to consider the importance of listening, working with others, and perseverance in pursuing a goal. His passion and enthusiasm inspire the optimism of someone who knows the harmony that comes from "living in choir." Santiago is a musician, conductor, and founder of the Cantoría de la Merced choir and principal conductor of the Córdoba Municipal String Orchestra. He was chosen as a Cultural Ambassador to represent Argentina as a guest at the world's largest choral event, the World Symposium on Choral Music, to be held in Istanbul in 2023. He studied musical composition and is a guitar teacher, having graduated from the Provincial Conservatory of Music. He teaches at the National University of Córdoba and leads numerous workshops, seminars, and training sessions both in Argentina and abroad. He specializes in musical direction, primarily choral and symphonic choral conducting.
