Your guide to replacing faulty intake gaskets on the 4.3 Vortec engine. This is specifically for the 4.3 in a 99' Silverado, but should be very similar to Blazer/Jimmy's. Notes and links below: Intake Bolt Torque Pattern http://i.imgur.com/au2hf8f.gif Distributor is easy to remove, one bolt, but make sure you mark the position of the rotor in relation to the distributor base and re-install in the same position (don't spin the engine either).
