How to Create Gorgeous Mono-Color Gelli Prints with Metallic Accents

In today’s Gelli printing tutorial, I’m sharing the mono-color printing technique I used to create all of the papers for my Mega Star project! Using just a single color of paint, I create beautiful textured backgrounds by removing paint with embossed cardstock, allowing the print to dry, and then enhancing the design with metallic or mica powders in coordinating colors. The finished print is pulled onto 110 lb Neenah White Cardstock, creating rich texture and shimmer while staying within a single color palette. For this demonstration, I used patriotic-inspired colors because they were created specifically for my Mega Star project, but this technique works beautifully with any color combination.
