You can't exactly mix marker colors together like you can with paint but there are still a lot of color theory tips and tricks you can apply to marker illustrations, whether they're for fashion, cars, toys, etc. Here I'll discuss layering markers, how to navigate tints, shades, tones, and mutes with markers, what you can do with markers and what you can't, and how to choose the right shading colors for your illustrations.
