HS2 Construction - Wendover, Buckinghamshire - 2025-04-05 - Part 2

Filmed on 5th April 2025. Ellesborough Road has been diverted across a new bridge. The houses which remain (the ones that haven't been demolished for HS2) are owned and let by the Secretary of State (not HS2 Limited). This area will become Wendover "Green" Tunnel. The construction uses the 'cut-and-cover' method (as opposed to using a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM). The bright white chalk of the Chiltern Hills is very visible.
