Diablo accepted the mission only because Rimuru-sama ordered him to… though he did so with the worst possible intentions. Five months passed. Five long months where the angels did absolutely nothing. And Diablo… began to get bored. First, he started fighting Leon's subordinates in El Dorado, but honestly, to him, they were little more than aggressive NPCs. None of them could entertain him for even a few minutes. Then he decided to move to the next level: he started fighting the other Primordials. Well… “fighting” is a very elegant word. The reality is that Diablo beat the crap out of Rain and Misery every day just to kill time. And while he did so, he talked about Rimuru-sama ALL THE TIME. The funniest part is that Rain ended up revealing she was also a Rimuru fanatic, especially after he helped her awaken as a true Demon Queen. So, because they shared a devotion to the same absurd monster, Diablo and Rain ended up becoming friends… and Misery was dragged into this strange alliance. But even that stopped entertaining Diablo. So he went to provoke Leon. The problem was that Leon completely refused to fight him, no matter how much Diablo tried to annoy him. And when he had no other option… he went straight to bothering Guy Crimson. Guy didn't want to fight either. Not out of fear, obviously… but because wasting energy unnecessarily before the war was stupid, even for him. But Diablo insisted so much… and SO MUCH… that Guy finally gave in. The day before Rimuru arrived to install the teleportation portals, the two Primordial Demons finally fought without holding back. The battle was SO absurd that they even destroyed Rain's barrier, which had been put in place to prevent the continent from exploding into pieces. Even so, Rain managed to reduce the damage enough that they "only" destroyed a training ground… Yes. ONLY a training ground. And the best part was this: Rain and Misery… THE PRIMARY BLUE AND GREEN… were cheering Diablo on throughout the entire fight, encouraging him to defeat Guy.
