Cave Camping in the Italian Mountains

We arrived in the Italian Alps with absolutely no plan. No campsite booked. No route mapped out. No idea where we'd be sleeping. After a long drive across Europe, our first night ended up being spent in the car. The next morning, we gathered our gear, packed our bags, and headed deep into the mountains in search of somewhere to call home for the night. What followed was an incredible hike through some of Italy's most stunning scenery, leading us to an unexpected discovery — a hidden cave tucked away high in the mountains. With daylight fading, we decided to turn it into our shelter and spend the night wild camping beneath the rock overhang.
