Correctional Services converts old prison into art gallery, parolees and probationers to benefit
The Department of Correctional Services has launched an Art Gallery at its old prison which has been converted into a museum at Klerksdorp in the North West. The Gallery is aimed at optimising the potential of young people including parolees and probationers. Some of the young inmates say the initiative by the department has helped nature and latent creative skills they never knew they had. Zebilon Maine reports.
