Hanam City has been turned upside down! On June 30th, the "Citizens' Festival Commemorating the Launch of the 9th Popularly Elected Administration," held at the Hanam Culture and Arts Center, transformed from an ordinary inauguration ceremony into a full-fledged music festival. The stars of the stage that day were undoubtedly "Trot Fairy" Kim Da-hyun and "God of Janggu" Park Seo-jin! Immediately after the Q&A session with citizens ended, the audience erupted in cheers when Kim Da-hyun made a surprise appearance to personally present a congratulatory bouquet to Mayor Lee Hyun-jae. As if that weren't enough, Mayor Lee Hyun-jae offered Kim Da-hyun the role of Hanam City Ambassador on the spot, and she readily accepted! Unlike Kim Da-hyun, who captivated the audience with her emotionally charged singing on the main stage, Park Seo-jin turned the auditorium into a true festival frenzy with traditional Janggu rhythms and explosive Trot vocals. Adding to this, the popular girl group Fifty Fifty joined in, creating a rare spectacle where Trot and idol music blended together on one stage! The performance by the 67-member citizen choir, comprised of people with and without disabilities and across all generations, added a touching emotional depth to the entire festival.
