Gas is one of Brazil's alternatives in the quest for more sustainable transportation. However, this technology is still restricted to a few routes due to a lack of infrastructure. Furthermore, this technology wasn't suitable for agribusiness. New options are now hitting the market, allowing the use of gas in nine-axle combinations used in agribusiness and increasing the range of these vehicles. The new unit is located on Dom Pedro I highway – km 111 (SP-065), in the Jacareí-Campinas/SP direction. We visited the site and checked out the facilities, which can accommodate up to 70 trucks: surveillance cameras, individual showers, a common area, and even a laundry room.
