How to Properly Stamp on a Brown Paper Bag: Step-by-Step Process

It can be tricky to get a great impression stamping on brown paper bags. This video will show you how to avoid poor stamp impressions using both wood handle stamps and self-inking stamps when stamping on paper bags. 1 - Make sure you are stamping on a hard, flat surface. 2 - Take your paper bag and find the side that does not have the seam running along the middle. This will be the side you stamp on. 3 - Take a thick piece of carstock and slide it inside the bag, directly underneath where you will be stamping. 4 - If using a wood handle stamp, tap your stamp into the ink die until it is fully covered. 5 - Line up your stamp and press down firmly and evenly for 2-4 seconds.
