After Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Matt Reeves and Mark Bomback had a monumental task ahead of them. Ending a trilogy that had proven itself to be one of the biggest cinematic surprises of the 2010s. And while their solution, War for the Planet of the Apes, proved to be somewhat divisive, it happens to be, quite possibly, my favorite film of all time. Let's talk about why.
