A powerful bus this one - and a huge contrast to T42 which is the other final remaining Trident at TC. Apart from its' fan turning on half the time (which isn't even that loud anyway), it holds its ground pretty well up the steep hills of this lovely route, and can accelerate pretty quickly. This was possibly the least time I expected a fast run, and school kick out time is really not a great time to record. However, this driver arrived 13 late into Purley after covering for a broken down T68, and immediately wanted to get going northbound - it was revealed later that he was in a rush to sub off at South Croydon. Schoolkids upstairs were also being extremely disruptive and noisy - keep watching to see what happened by Sanderstead...
