First Time Hearing John Lennon - Imagine

Well, this was interesting. Unfortunately, I had already listen to Plastic Ono Band before recording this, otherwise I would have listened to it first, but in my opinion, this was a good upgrade from Plastic Ono Band. The mixing felt more clear, and the instrumentation was more complex, with a lot of use of strings. I really liked how he used strings and piano on this album, I mean the way they combined the two was just superb. I also thought it was cool how John would share a lot of his ideas and his ideals for the world, and a song like Imagine must have been such an important song and such a statement, especially back when it was released, considering the Vietnam War was still going on. I also like how introspective and emotionally open he was on songs like Crippled Inside, Jealous Guy, and It's Hard. Not a single bad song on here.
