4K Walk – Taipei City Centre - Riverside Park

Today's walk begins just outside Taipei Main Station, the city's most important transportation hub where MRT trains, high-speed rail, conventional rail, and airport services connect travelers from across Taiwan. From the station area, we'll make our way through a few smaller side streets and alleys before emerging onto a broad, spacious sidewalk that leads us toward one of Taipei's beautiful riverside parks. Along the way, you'll experience the contrast between the busy city center and the more peaceful riverside environment. The riverside park offers excellent recreational facilities, including basketball courts, tennis courts, cycling paths, and plenty of open space for locals to enjoy outdoor activities. It's a wonderful example of how Taipei combines urban living with accessible green spaces. After exploring the riverside area, we'll head back toward the streets surrounding Taipei Main Station, taking in more of the city's atmosphere before concluding our walk just outside the station entrance where our journey began.
