Guaya is the only South American country whose official language is English. Number 12. Guyana is a country quite diverse to what religious beliefs are concerned, besides, it is one of the few countries in South America where Catholicism is not the predominant religious community. Number 13. Guyana is the only country in South America that considers homosexual male relationships a crime. Number 14 Guyana, is called the land of the many rivers.
