After riding the Oku-Musashi Green Line, I didn't actually go home. Instead, I met up with my wife and we spent the night in Chichibu on a "meet and leave at the same place" trip. After descending from Sadamine Pass, I had some time before my hotel check-in time, so we toured Urayama Dam at Chichibu Sakura Lake and the Wadō Ruins, then headed to the small Hotel Servai. I'd always wanted to visit the dams in Chichibu, but currently, National Route 140 is partially closed. As a result, I couldn't visit Futase Dam and Takiyama Dam. Also, since Akaku Dam is just north of Ogano, I didn't have much time, so I decided to visit Urayama Dam, which is the most accessible. After that, I headed northeast on National Route 140 toward my hotel near Nagatoro. Along the way, I stopped by the Wadō Ruins, another place I'd been interested in. Finally, I spent a relaxing night in Chichibu at the small Hotel Servai, where I was staying.
