Kauai Landscape Photography: How to Photograph from a Jack Harter's Doors-Off Helicopter Tour

In this episode we do something very different, and that is revisit our honeymoon's highlight event: A Jack Harter's Doors-Off Helicopter Tour. We get great footage and images of the Waimea Canyon, the Napali Coast, and the Blue Hole. In this episode I break down the things I learned after taking this tour and how I would do things differently the next time as a landscape photographer. Some things I did right, some things I did wrong. I discuss things like vibration reduction, focal lengths, and the mindset you should approach this kind of landscape photography excursion with. I sincerely believe this was the coolest hour of my life, the stunning scenery of Kauai is unlike anything I have ever seen and is truly a gem that I think is largely looked over by the landscape photography community. Hawaii is a beautiful state, but I think Kauai is the crown jewel of it. I look forward to the next time I can go on this same flight but with the knowledge I gained from the first one. 0:00 Video Summary 0:30 What I Knew 1:54 What I Didn't Know 3:22 Lessons Learned 6:01 Helicopter Footage and Image Presentation 14:14 Conclusion and Bonus Images
