The search for the 27 people who went missing at sea on Saturday, 18 July, continues. East New Britain Provincial Government officials and the Provincial Disaster Committee met with the families of the missing, assuring them that search efforts will continue. A helicopter from Manalos Aviation joined the aerial search and successfully located one of the missing boats off the west coast of New Ireland Province.
