Full descent ride / Talfahrt in voller Länge ab: 7:35 EN: The Como–Brunate funicular opened in 1894 and connects the old town of Como in Northern Italy with the village of Brunate, some 500 metres above. It has a lenght of 1.084m with a maximum incline of 55%. A trip in one of the two 2011 new introduced cars takes about 7 minutes. There are two intermediate stations, which are served on request. At the upper station you can get a look into the haulage machinery or take one of the many enjoyable trails into the surrounding hills. Auf einer Länge von 1084 Metern weist sie eine maximale Steigung von 55% auf. Die Fahrt in einem der beiden 2011 eingeführten Wagen dauert etwa 7 Minuten. Unterwegs befinden sich zwei Stationen, welche auf Verlangen bedient werden. An der Bergstation gibt es die Möglichkeit, einen Einblick in die Maschinenanlage zu erhalten, oder eine der vielen Wanderwege in die Umgebung zu erkunden.
