Scrapbook Tips 27 | Behind the Scenes: 2017 Month in Review Planning | Simple Stories Best Year Ever

Welcome to Round 2 of Make it With Me Monday! In this planning video, I’m getting ready to begin my next Month in Review album project — this time working with 2017 stories and the Simple Stories Best Year Ever digital collection. Before we jump into the layouts, I wanted to walk through the collection, share how I printed the digital papers and elements, and talk through the overall plan for this album. I’ll show the digital collection, how I used Silhouette Studio for print and cut elements, and how I’m organizing my monthly stories in Trello before choosing photos for each layout. I’m also taking a quick look back at my previous Month in Review projects, including the 2024 album we just wrapped up, and talking through how I’ll triage my 2017 photos to decide which stories make it onto the monthly pages. This is very much a behind-the-scenes planning video — part digital prep, part story organization, part album strategy.
