Move washer away from the wall 3. Use Phillips head screw driver to remove the 2 screws in the back holding the top on and remove top panel 4. Keep track of which screws go where 5. Notice where the arrows on the boot seal line up with the arrows on the washer front panel. You will. Need to line the new one up exactly the same way. Maybe take a photo of it so you will remember just exactly how it should go on. 6. Use needle nose pliers to remove the retaining ring from front panel 7. Peel the boot seal off of the front panel 8. Remove screws under the front panel Should be 4 screws. (So we are at 6 screws now) 9. Pull out the dispenser drawer and depress the tab to fully release it 10. Remove the 2 screws from the dispenser drawer housing. 11. Remove 3 screws holding the top of the front panel 12. Lift front panel up and pull it off 13. Disconnect the 2 wires connected to the front panel 14. Remove the lower counter balance weight with a 7/16” socket. 4 bolts. 15. Remove light assembly from the boot seal 16. Remove the two hoses after cutting the zip ties 17. Remove retaining spring from outer tub. 18. Notice where the triangle tabs line up on the tub 19. Remove the upper counter balance weight 20. Install new boot seal by first aligning the top triangles 21. Reinstall the retaining spring on the boot seal. Use clamps or another pair of hands to help hold the spring in place while you install it. 22. Insert tubes back into their ports. Secure them with new zip ties. 23. Insert light into receptacle hole 24. Reinstall the counterbalance weights with the mounting bolts 25. Reinstall the front panel by connecting the two wires and align the panel on the mounting pins at top and push down into place 26. Reinstall the 3 screws on top 27. Replace the 2 screws in the dispenser drawer housing 28. Reinstall the dispenser drawer 29. Reinstall the 4 screws at the bottom of the front panel 30. Align the boot seal on front of panel – be sure the arrows line up 31. Reinstall the retaining wire with the spring at the top of the boot seal 32. Reinstall the top panel and secure the 2 screws at the back of the panel. 33. Push washer back against the wall and plug it in. 34. Now the job is done and you can start washing clothes again. 35. It’s a good idea to wipe out the rubber boot seal on a regular basis to keep it from getting mold and mildew build up.
