Today I'm going to give you a recipe for delicious Mastic Gum and Almond Cookies that melt in your mouth, and I'm sure it will blow your mind! Ingredients; 300 grams butter – at room temperature ¾ cup powdered sugar 2-3 pieces mastic gum – crushed 3 cups flour 5 tablespoons wheat starch 1 packet vanilla 1 packet baking powder ½ cup sliced ​​almonds For topping: Powdered sugar Instructions; In a mixing bowl, mix the butter and powdered sugar by crushing them with a spatula. Crush the mastic gum, which you have stored in the freezer, in a mortar and pestle and add it, continuing to mix. Sift in the flour, wheat starch, vanilla, and baking powder and knead lightly. Add the slivered almonds and knead until you have a non-sticky dough. Take walnut-sized pieces of dough, roll them into balls, and transfer them to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 15-18 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove from the oven, let cool to room temperature, then sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
