OpenTUI: React for Your Terminal, Powered by Bun and Zig

OpenTUI is a new open-source library from the Anomaly team (creators of OpenCode) that lets you build terminal UIs using React, Solid, or vanilla TypeScript — all powered by a high-performance Zig rendering core. In this video I walk through what makes OpenTUI different from Ink, show how to scaffold and build apps with bun create tui, and demo real examples including animated dashboards, a diff viewer, and even 3D graphics in the terminal via Three.js. I also break down the performance story (no 30fps cap, near-zero FFI overhead with Bun) and compare the React, Solid, and Core runtimes so you can pick the right one for your next TUI project. 🔗 Relevant Links OpenTUI - https://opentui.com/ Ink - https://github.com/vadimdemedes/ink ❤️ More about us Radically better observability stack: https://betterstack.com/ Written tutorials: https://betterstack.com/community/ Example projects: https://github.com/BetterStackHQ 📱 Socials Twitter:   / betterstackhq   Instagram:   / betterstackhq   TikTok:   / betterstack   LinkedIn:   / betterstack
