Animation Blueprint: 2 Methods for creating Light Hit Reacts | Unreal Engine Tutorial

We're going to take a look at adding Hit Reacts to our animation. This first Hit React video is going to be covering "light" hit reacts (sometimes called flinch) that don't actually affect our character movement. We've got two methods to cover. Blendspace driven by a hit normal and montage selection played in additive slot. There are a ton of moving parts in todays tutorial. Keep an eye out for additional methods and addendums. Apologies for the strange audio level drops on the main mic. Still sorting out what OBS is doing. 🎓 Animation Authoring in Unreal 🎓 Blendspaces 🎓 Vectors 🎓 Anim Blueprints 🎓 Montages 🎓 Anim Slots 🎓 Control Rig Authoring ✨💲 Tips are welcome!
