Hi! I'm Jess. Welcome to my studio! In this collage session, I started with a piece that most people would toss—a figure of a woman clipped in and missing a chunk from her lower half. But instead of giving up on it, I leaned into the imperfection and transformed her into something new. This video is all about embracing the weird and broken. In other words, the scraps. I’ll walk you through my thought process as I search for supporting pieces, layer paper, and let the piece evolve organically.
