❖ Geometric Sequences: A Formula for the' n - th ' Term , Part 2 ❖
In this question we are given two terms of a geometric sequence and are then asked to find another term of the geometric sequence. In order to do this, we first find a general formula for the n-th term of the geometric sequence and then simply compute the value we want. For this particular geometric sequence example, we are given that the second term is equal to 32 while the 5th term is equal to -4. From that we want to know what is the value of the ninth term of our geometric sequence. So: If a_2 = 32 and a_5 = - 4 , what is the value of a_9? #geometric #sequence #algebra #series #patrickjmt #nthterm
