Grand Canyon Rim to Rim Backpacking | North Kaibab Trail to Bright Angel Trail | Ribbon Falls Join me on a Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim (R2R) backpacking adventure from the North Rim to the South Rim via the North Kaibab Trail and Bright Angel Trail. This was the very first hiking video I ever filmed. In fact, the Sony camera was unboxed in the back of the rental car on the morning I started hiking! I've learned so much about filming since this trip, but I still wanted to share this special adventure because it reminds me why I fell in love with backcountry hiking in the Grand Canyon. One of the highlights of this Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim hike is a visit to beautiful Ribbon Falls, one of my favorite places in the canyon. Ribbon Falls holds a special place in my heart because it's where I captured my all-time favorite Grand Canyon photo—the image I still use to represent my YouTube channel today. Standing beneath the waterfall is an experience I'll never forget. This Grand Canyon backpacking trip includes: • Rim-to-Rim hiking from North Rim to South Rim • North Kaibab Trail • Ribbon Falls • Bright Angel Campground • Bright Angel Trail • Grand Canyon scenery and trail conditions • Backpacking and camping in the canyon I camped for two nights at Bright Angel Campground during this 2020 trip.
