Over the Rhondda hills: and a step into the past.
I love walking over the valleys' hills. I decided to revisit the reservoirs above Maerdy, in the Rhondda Fach Valley. It brought back a memory of an incident more than half a century ago, when I had just started working locally. The walk, over the hills to the Rhondda Fawr, was also an uplifting experience: lovely scenery on a bracing, beautiful day in March 2025.
