NYC's HIDDEN FAIRYLAND: Forest Hills, Queens

In the bustling streets of Queens, New York is a hidden place unlike anywhere else in the city. This tunnel here is a portal to an architectural fairyland where the bustle of New York is traded for winding tree lined streets, whimsical Tudor castles, and carefully landscaped parks. It’s called Forest Hills, and it was envisioned over a century ago as a suburban escape from the city, designed after the garden cities of England.
