Reedy Fen - Part one - Carp fishing

I started to fish Reedy Fen on the 3rd of May 2023, in the following two months I only managed two runs, losing both fish. However this gave me hope and by the end of June I was putting the pieces together. Reedy fen is a farm reservoir with a good stock of carp. Around 5-6 acres, the margins have extensive reed beds with a thick layer of silk-weed growing down the margin slopes. The deepest part of the lake is 28 feet with 14 feet just a few rod lengths out.
