Drillevator Skip - How It Works | Deep Rock Galactic

I retract what I said at the end about Drillevator Skip being useless for solos and duos. As a solo, if you're going to ignore the secondary it can be useful if you start digging down right away (not as useful in a DD setting). You'll need to dig down in a way that'll help you get back up. Either a spiral or with steep steps that you can use RJ250 to climb up. Same thing with duos: have driller dig down in a spiral or straight down with steep steps. ======== ↓↓↓ ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION ↓↓↓ ======== What could be more in the spirit of the game than to play Season 5: Drilling Deeper by... well... drilling deeper? I've seen plenty of people try skipping the drillevator by going straight to the geode. Some failed. Some succeeded but they did so in an approach that was much slower than doing the mission normally. In this video, I simulate what a team can do to get inside the geode and successfully complete the mission without the drillevator. This can even be done without touching a single resonance crystal. The seed for the Deep Dive in the video is 71169. You can test out the theory yourself with the Mission Selector mod. Just remember to do the secondary objective too so the game will allow you to go to the next stage.
