BLU 11 door seal trick and check strap service on my Jaguar XJ X358

I bought 'Blu' my Jaguar X358 diesel XJL with eyes wide open. Although the bodywork is in decent condition, she had no service history and a long list of faults and issues. That suited me just fine as I love a project and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. (£3000) In this episode, I make a temporary but effective repair to the driver's door inner seal which is often in very poor condition on theses cars. I also stop door squeaks by addressing the pinch rollers on the check strap.
