IMD Alerts Odisha: Low Pressure Area Forming Over Bay of Bengal, Heavy Rainfall from July 2 N18V The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather warning indicating the formation of a fresh cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal, which is likely to intensify into a low-pressure area. Under its influence, monsoon currents will become aggressive, triggering widespread heavy to very heavy rainfall across several districts of Odisha starting from July 2. Farmers and residents in low-lying areas have been advised to remain alert.
