Lessons from Indiana Campmeeting - Pastor Stephen Bohr - 1 of 2
One of the most controversial and potentially explosive topics of discussion in the Seventh-day Adventist Church today is music. There is no more divisive issue in the Church than this one. Many churches have two worship services on Sabbath. The first is a traditional one for the “older members” of the Church and the other is a contemporary one for the younger generation. While the contemporary service uses praise songs that were composed mainly by evangelical and Pentecostal composers, the traditional service uses the old time hymns that fall into the Protestant Reformation tradition. The question is: Which of these two worship styles fits best with the message and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church? Help us caption & translate this video! http://amara.org/v/GBVI/
