Travelling through Uncertainty

Why Travel Matters Before You Feel Ready Many of us imagine travel as something we’ll do later. When life calms down. When we feel more confident. When finances, timing, energy, or certainty finally line up neatly enough to begin. But what if travel is not the reward for becoming ready? What if it is one of the experiences that helps us become more alive, adaptable, connected, and fully ourselves? In this reflective workshop, we explore: why travel matters beyond holidays and sightseeing the myth of “ready” how stepping outside the familiar changes us why uncertainty is often part of the magic the deeper personal and relational growth that travel can invite. I drawing on our own personal experience as well as ideas from the book Why Travel Matters in this session, as we look at whether long term travel is something that happens when we reach all the goals we set in our life vision, or if it can part of our journey towards who we are becoming. This is the first in a series of three workshops (30 minute presentations + Q&A) I will be running in the Lifebook Community.
