Ilha Anchieta - Ubatuba

Planet Vanguard takes a tour of Anchieta Island in Ubatuba: a natural paradise rich in history. The island housed a prison in the first half of the 20th century and was the scene of a bloody rebellion. Today, Anchieta Island is a destination for thousands of tourists, boasting seven stunning beaches and trails through the forest. Another attraction is the island's fauna, composed of monkeys, capybaras, agoutis... exotic animals introduced to the island in the 1980s.
