Rockford Fosgate: Power Compact Amp Overview (3.4)

This is an educational overview on the POWER COMPACT series amplifier models. These small chassis Power Series amplifiers take all the latest technology that Rockford Fosgate has developed and combined it with the power capability you've come to expect out of a Power Series amplifier, and we packed it into a small chassis heatsink who's performance is truly amazing. This video will take a closer look at these amplifiers, where they came from and what makes them up. The inspiration for the new compact power amps started from the Punch "PBR" series of compact amplifiers. When they were introduced, we quickly realized the sub-compact sized amplifier was becoming the solution to a lot of new applications. Custom motorcycle shops and offroad enthusiasts were introducing us to a whole new world of Rockford Fanatics. Using their imagination and skills to build some truly radically new machines. Seeing this, we asked the questions: Can we do more? Can we improve on the design and create something even better? With that challenge at hand, we set out to combine the best that Rockford has in amplifier technology and put it all together in a scaled down amplifier chassis.
